Lalitā Parameśvarī Pīṭha

lalitha.jpg

The Lalitā Parameśvarī Pīṭha was founded in 1982 in Winterthur, Switzerland to spread the wisdom and bliss of Śrīvidyā.

In his youth, Paramahamsa Sri Swami Omkarananda Saraswati, a universal mystic and thinker, had visions of the Divine Mother Mīnākṣī during which he received direct initiation into the innermost aspects of the sacred tradition. He also received important teachings from an elderly saint by the name of Sri Swami Durgananda of Rishikesh and was closely connected to the Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple in South India through Sri Sri Kamakoti Shastri.

The Lalitā Parameśvarī Pīṭha in Winterthur serves as a place to connect with the supreme Divinity of Absolute Consciousness.
